American yacht builder Burger Boat is back in the news again not with a new launch but a new design, the Burger 122. The Burger 122 is a 37-meter tri-deck with its design (both exterior and Naval Architecture) taken from the boards of Gregory C Marshall in collaboration with Burger Boat. Although the design proposes a three-deck layout there is a raised pilothouse configuration.

As for the layout, Burger is leaving alot of that up to the owner when they come onboard to the project. What is known though is that the yacht will be able to accommodate up to ten (10) guests with the preferred layout being four cabins on the lower deck and the master suite on the main deck. That arrangement would be broken down to two double cabins and two twin cabins. Naturally they all will have their own heads. The master suite is full-width and has the orientation facing forward.

Given that she is a raised pilothouse the sundeck layout is in two regions on slightly different levels. The forward portion has bench seating port and starboard of the centerline to complement the secondary helm position. Helm position is situated on the starboard side and guest seating mirrors that on the port side. Just aft of the fore portion there is a cozier setting still underneath the hardtop that features comfortable single chairs to starboard and C-shaped seating with cocktail tables installed. Going further aft down a couple of steps the the lower but aft portion of this deck is a barbecue/grilling station along with open deck area for loose furniture.

Moving down the main stairs aft from here will take you to the aft main deck cockpit area. This area has the usual U-shaped seating aft and complementing table and is right off the sliding-doors that will take you into the main saloon on the interior. The area would be perfect for sundowners and light meals but also can be used for entertaining with the large flatscreen installed.

When you choose to work with Burger you can customize her to your own unique requirements — a collaboration that combines your mission with their heritage. For instance, the renderings show the tender storage to be in the aft transom using a cradle-winch system to deploy and retrieve, but this could also become a gym, seaside terrace, etc.

To give you an idea of the approximate dimensions and particulars for this design the LOA is proposed to be 37.26-meters with a beam overall of 7.75-meters and a draft of 1.83-meters at half load. The engines were not disclosed at this stage but the yard envisions a top speed of 24-knots with cruising at 21-knots. 24,600 LT of fuel can be held onboard in the fuel tanks along with storage for 4,300 LT of fresh water. Approximate GT for the Burger Boat is 297.
