  1. 48-meter "Lion" Launches At Baglietto
Over the weekend a new yacht was launched to the water. This time it is from builder Baglietto and their latest superyacht called "Lion" is the new specimen. She was built as hull 10233 at the La Spezia yard and once completed the yacht will be delivered to a South American customer. The design is by none other than Francesco Paszkowski with an interior by the yard in collaboration with Leonardo Santi (whose job was to choose and implement the furnishings and d├ęcor for the owner.
  2. Warm and welcoming tones characterize the interior of the steel and aluminium superyacht. Onboard is feature-packed for a sub-50-meter vessel. You will find a Beach area comprising of a relaxation area, spa and gym space. The sun deck is perhaps the largest outdoor relaxation area onboard for guests measuring 140 sqm. All outdoor entertainment and al-fresco dining can be done on this deck as it has a bar, grill, barbecue, pool, sunpads and lounging space.
  3. Powering Lion are dual MTU 12V 2000 M72 marine diesels which will drive the yacht to a top speed of 15-knots and a cruising speed of 11 or 12-knots. If this build looks familiar in design it is because she is a sistership to previous Baglietto yachts like "Andiamo" and "Silver Fox". Twelve (12) guests can be accommodated onboard with a slightly interesting layout seen on the lower deck. The full-beam master suite is in the on-deck position while on the lower deck there are two large double cabins which can be transformed into four double cabins thanks to sliding walls/partitions. This is a feature the owner requested be implemented.
