CRN Launches 50-meter Superyacht"Latona"

Over the weekend, Italian yard CRN launched their 50-meter superyacht named "Latona" during a private ceremony. This yacht is a custom built steel hull and aluminum superstructure combination with design by Zuccon International Project. Under construction you might have known this build under the name Superconero or hull 136. The interior was overseen by CRN's in-house design team.

The interior volume is just under 500GT and has arrangement across four decks. We are not 100 percent certain what the accommodation onboard is but it appears from the photos that the master suite is forward on the main deck with guest and crew lodging on the lower deck. There are fold-terraces on the main deck outside of the saloon. The aft main deck is home to a glass-bottomed pool which filters natural light into the beach club on the lower deck. On the sundeck, there is a jacuzzi that guests can also use.

Performance wise, Latona is powered by a pair of CAT C32 marine diesels each rated at 1,600 horse power. She can cross the Atlantic at just above 10-knots and top-out at 15-knots when needed. “Every launch is a reason for great pride for the shipyard,” said CEO Alberto Galassi. “This complex, magnificent, 50 meter construction realizes the desire of a selective and resolute owner, who has turned to the expertise and the ability of CRN to build his personal project, turning his vision into a magnificent vessel.”
