SanLorenzo sells first SD126 megayacht​

Italian builder SanLorenzo have completed the sale of the first unit in the new SD126 model. The sale was secured at the Miami Show in February. Designed by the usual Francesco Paszkowski, Project SD126-40 is already well underway in construction at the shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. She is expected to be delivered to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in October and will be displayed in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

A number of nice features are onboard the new SD126 inclusive of the new positioning of the jacuzzi. The hottub is now located on the bow, yes the bow and just aft, forward of the bridge is ample seating where guests can have breakfast or a cool drink. There is also another jacuzzi on the sundeck. The Master suite has large doors on both sides that instead of fold down to form a terrace, swing up like gull-wing doors. More terraces are located in the bulwarks outside of the main saloon.

The first hull will be run by dual 1,622 horse power Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines to hit a top speed of 17-knots and a slower cruise at around 11-knots. She spreads over 3 internal decks and the open sun deck. The interior will showcase a light palette customized with splashes of color like purple hues.
