In one of the many pictures I've seen there was a good one of the port side in which this "turret" looked more like a windlass of sorts. So that may very well play to the docking tether idea. Regardless, take a look at the camera in each of these two shots. Looks as though someone might be keeping an eye on the photographer. http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=102997978&size=o http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=102997982&size=o In case you don't see them, look on the underneath side of the sponsons.

I found this link on another site that has a few inside pictures of Pelorus http://www.roman-abramovich.com/pelorus-yacht-pictures-roman-abramovich.htm Looks like a site dedicated to Roman Abramovich. If you go to it you will see other links to Le Grand Bleu and Ecstasea. Cheers all
I found this link interesting, hope it fits with this thread. I always thought “Golden Shadow” was just a support and play toy holder for “Golden Odyssey”. It seems to be used for a lot of ocean research work as shown in this site. This is the brainchild of the Golden Fleet owner; His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz. http://redsea.livingoceansfoundation.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=50 In the top link headers of this page there are also some Video Clips, 21 in total, while most of them are amazing footage of sea life a few show some of the engineering and day to day operations of the yacht. Cheers all
Not to worry! You haven't done anything wrong. The images are on another site, so there is no liability.

cannes photos Might belong somewhere else, but these are hi-quality photos of cannes during what I assume is the film festival. Has the former bond girl/italian actress maria grazia cucinotta in them (tasteful, nothing to spoil your site). The scenery is littered with very discernable megayachts, thought it was awesome when I first viewed it. links, in case of situation above. hope you like. http://img24.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-27652/loc213/94869_maria_cannes_2006_03.jpg http://img23.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-32748/loc164/95829_maria_cannes_2006_11.jpg http://img155.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp01fo1i-21844/loc87/94878_maria_cannes_2006_04.jpg
John, This recently came to my attention and then Lars posted something related... Shipspotting dot com is a site requiring mandatory registration to view images. This is not an unusual practice in recent days, as many websites are adopting this protocol... but for reasons less benign than you think. Let me explain... Shipspotting dot com is telling viewers that due to the number of hits they are receiving, they have to limit viewing to only members. THIS IS TOTAL BULL DUNG! It's nothing more that a ploy to build membership, so they have a base to present to advertisers!!! Therefore, we have a new guideline... links to mandatory registration sites are not permitted. We WILL NOT allow other sites to use our traffic to build their membership. Carl Camper, Admin www.YachtForums.com
