SanLorenzo Launches 3 More Megayachts The last week has been busy and rewarding for the Italian yacht builder when they launched three yachts. Remember the last time they prided themselves on a double launch now SanLorenzo overhauled that figure and splashed three in a week. The first launch has been christened "Scorpion" and she is a member of the 40-meter Alloy series, the sixth unit. Top speed is around 28 knots given the performance of her other sisters with twin MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines. She'll cruise at approximately 26 knots. Not surprisingly her design is by Francesco Paszkowski and finished in a metalic silver/grey echoing on the Alloy-feel. Another of the launches for SanLorenzo was a composite model from the SD122 line. She hit the water christened as "Santa Anna" representing the fourth unit in the SD122 line. Again this unit bears design by Francesco Paszkowski with slightly altered plans as compared to her sister giving the owner the slightest more customization. The third vessel was the largest of the triple launch having an LOA of 46-meters. A member of the steel range at SanLorenzo coming in at just under 500-tonnes. Her name is "Rêve d’Or" finished in a dark coloured hull and white superstructure. Top speed with her 3512B CAT engines dialed in at 17 knots. The latest steel vessel has a number of cool amenities and with 4,000 nautical mile range, the possibilities are endless. Interestingly, all three of these yachts have been built for Russian owners. SanLorenzo will continue to be kept extremely busy with multiple yachts expected to be launched during the Summer period.
