  1. Feadship Launches 101.5-meter Superyacht Hull 808
Dutch superyacht builder Feadship launches their second superyacht for 2015 -the other being the 84-meter hull 686 now known as "Savannah"-. The new yacht was built as hull 808 at Feadship's Royal Van Lent yard. Hull 808 now represents the largest superyacht built by Feadship, measuring 101.5-meters LOA and thus taking the title from the 99-meter Feadship "Madamme GU". The dark-blue hulled yacht has been designed by the famed Tim Heywood with Naval Architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. The superyacht is full displacement and built in steel for the hull and aluminium for the superstructure. As large as she is, hull 808 is expected to run up to 22-knots (to be confirmed on trials). This is possible thanks to 4 X MTU 16V 4000 M73 marine diesels. There is a capacity onboard for 256,000 LTs and that is expected to equate to a 5,000 nautical mile range at an economical cruising speed. At 101.50-meters she is the largest Feadship to date, she has a healthy overall beam of 14.10-meters even though given her length may seem a tad slim. The yacht's sprawling decks house accommodation for 16 guests in 6 x guests, 1 x VIP, 1 x Owners suite. If needed there is provision to expand the accommodation on the lower deck for extra guests so the accommodation can increase to 20 guests.

As for her interesting features, hull 808 has a 6.0-meter pool that is contra flow allowing for endless swimming if necessary. Two jacuzzis exist on deck along with two saunas, wet and dry varieties. There is a large gymnasium also. Watersport toys are available, from windsurfers to jetskis, seabobs, waterslide and inflatable toys. Three Pascoe tenders will shuttle guests around and they are, 9.6-meter, 8.3-meter and 7.85-meters. Hull 808 has been built with the PYC in mind and can be available for charter and helicopter operations.
