    So did you go with new Fritted glass or did your contractor bake a Frit pattern onto the existing glass?

    If you look at post 15, I gave a fairly detailed explanation of the solution I opted for. The ceramic frit process was too expensive (around $12K) for just the one window. I'm pretty sure the price would come down per window if I were doing several panels. A lot of the cost had to do with setting up the equipment for a "one off" project. I am very happy with the material we applied to the outside of the glass providing very good UV protection for the adhesive.

    I did get confused when you brought the Frit up again, thanks for your response. So glad all is well. Now we wait for reasonable temperature for the project.
