What a great shot! Perfect framing with the buildings in the background.

Funny, I think I saw you out on the bow when you were taking the picture. I happen to be tuned in to your helm cam right about then. :)

unfortunately, the sun wasnt high enough yet so Concorde was in the shade... 5 minutes later it would have been better.

    Pascal,

The Yacht Cam is pretty neat. I just checked it out and noticed the Annapolis State House in the background. My brother lives across the street from the Yacht Basin at 7 St. Marys St. (Across the street from the Marriott, next to the Rec. Center.) If you find the time, knock on the door and tell him Hi! from me. I'm sure he'd get a kick out of that.

While you're staring at the Marriott, check out these Base Jumping Fools that jumped off the top of the Marriot into Ego Alley.

    Crazy stuff.

the view was pretty nice last night as i was coming in, under the bay bridge and into the harbor at sunset. Had a good run most of the day, except the lower delaware bay which was pretty rough courtesy of 30kts winds on the bow and some very short, steep 4 footers.

Pascal.... I finally had the chance to check out the helm-cam yesterday. It did look like a wet ride at times. There must have been gaps in cell service, as the Google Earth tracking dropped out for awhile. But I did get to see the bay bridge/sunset along with marina entry and docking. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your trip with us. Enjoy!

BTW... what's your cruising speed/RPM range been? How's fuel consumption been? Have you been checking out Diesel prices along the way?

yeah, cell service drops out sometimes...

    we're burning 18GPH at 10kts, and 84GPH at 22kts... top speed is 30kts and... 130gph or so.

i have been keeping an eye on diesel prices, it's a matter of finding places who got recent deliveries since prices are dropping. Paid 2.93 at Utsch Cape May, i saw that a couple of places are 2.90 in norfolk so will probably fill up there, unless Coinjock has gone down (will call tomorrow...)

    just about to leave annapolis.
