Wide and comfortable platforms for the avid adventurer combined with spacious luxurious interiors resulting from the double-hull platform...If you thought that it was reminiscent of a catamaran, then you were correct. However, it is not just any old catamaran, it is the Nahema 120.

The Nahema 120 is due to splash in 2009 and will be the smaller sister-if you will-to the new 148 foot Fenomen, yet to be built. She will have a length of about 35.00M, a beam of 14.32M and a maximum draught of 4.50M. The first unit is currently underconstruction at the H2X shipyard in La Ciotat, France.

The Naval Architect for this project is Giles Vaton of Vaton Design. The interior was designed by Franck Darnet. The interior can be described as being luminous as well as spacious featuring minimalist furniture and modern accessories. Wood will pervade in the saloon with teak floors and wood paneled walls and partitions.

A broad sweep of glass will dominate the interior cockpit and thus be an advantage, two fold. Spectacular vistas may be had from the interior as well as an abundance of natural light being spilled into the interior. Below, in the two hulls, space is precious but is adequately taken up with accommodation for guests and crew alike. To the very aft of each hull is to be provision for the storage of two tenders for planned launch through side-doors.

On the Sun-Deck -above the cockpit- features some space for lounging or gathering. To the fore are twin helm-stations for the control of the Nahema 120. With captive winches all arranged in a row in front of the controls, sail selection and trim can be advised with ease. Below on the same deck as the cockpit but abaft, is to be open area for alternative dining. In addition, sun-pads can be arranged and positioned for the ultimate comfort of the guests. Furthermore, there will be a sizable pool for those not willing to take a dip in the sea below.

Together, the twin hulls of the Nahema 120, provide a stable platform for charter as well as private usage. Spacious cockpit interiors provide comfort and luxury with high-quality materials and modern arrangements. Tenders are available, as well as double trampoline nets to the fore. The sum of all the spaces tie together to create a wonderful sailing catamaran when completed in 2009.
