Nahema 120-foot catamaran hull interior finished

Since Nahema recieved the hull molds from Australia for their 120-foot luxury catamaran at the start of this year (2008), the interior work went ahead. In today's world, many interiors are now constructed to exact specification and built separately then lifted aboard in modules.

Fast forward to June, 2008 and the interior for the hulls of the Nahema 120-foot catamaran was well advanced. "Using a modular construction technique (accommodations of both hulls are being built full-size on the side) allows for decreased delivery times and optimum structural integrity.

When ready, they will be lifted and fitted directly into the hulls, mounted onto silent blocks." This method allows for the interior to be fabricated seperately without impeding upon the construction of the hull.

The interior in totality is designed by Franck Darnet and features a minimalist platform in the deck saloon juxtaposed next to wooden floors and paneling. The Nahema 120-foot luxury catamaran is on course for a launch in 2009 when she will sail away from the H2X, La Ciotat yard in France.
