New 24M Custom-Series Set To Come To Life​

Moonen has signed a Letter of Intent to build the first in a new custom-series of 24-meter motoryachts created in partnership with designer Nick Mezas. The series has been developed for people seeking a cool new Moonen in smaller lengths than we normally build. A second new range of contemporary displacement yachts has been created together with Rene van der Velden for the same purpose.

The Nick Mezas design is available in 18, 20 and 24 m versions, and this first order confirms its attraction to a new generation of owners. The yacht will be built to CE regulations and benefit from a careful analysis of systems and equipment. The styling is more aggressive than you normally see on a Moonen. She will, of course, feature ‘standard’ Moonen assets like low fuel consumption and low noise & vibration, as well as an exceptionally comfortable round bilged hull. Volvo IPS propulsion will offer a top speed of 22 knots and the IPS configuration leaves lots of space free in the forward section for four cabins. An open-plan layout in the saloon/wheelhouse area will enhance the social aspect of the yacht, which is likely to be helmed by the owner and his friends/family.
