I am a little disapointed..., thought this was seriously, :D...will read between the lines more often before answering in future...

Nice one, she found a direct way in my heart, but will be expensive in maintenance like any beautiful woman...

As a latecomer to this thread ( new position, workin'-like-a-fool, whine, whine...)
I commend outmywindow, codger, and catmando for their loon-atic ways.
    Good karma to you, guys!

And a thought, a humble opinion, as always :)

Is this the sharpest prow since the Reggie Fountain designs? I mean you might get a "bow-cut" ( like a paper cut?) on your finger if you got too close.

    Anything "sharper" out there?

I have misplaced that Playboy issue and I doubt there are any more available from Playboy. :( :(

Victoria is one of the world's great beauties.

Looking again at the design, Strand needs to address the intake and exhaust ports. They are too small by a large margin.

I think she could run 100+ in 2-3s. At 55' she can span the waves nicely. My only concern is her weight. At 12,000lbs she is the lightest boat of her size I've ever heard of. I would want suspension seats as she is a sitdown boat.

And there is no doubt she has the correct propulsion package for both speed AND reliability, unlike the 51' Bladerunner with her bloated 1000hp Caterpillar diesels that weigh 3800lbs each.

    Hi Ben,

Good to see you back. It's been awhile. When the time comes, I'll have more on this, but for now... it's best not to discuss. When I previously posted the picture, Dan was immediately contacted by two yachting magazines. It was completely inappropriate for them to do this, especially where I'm involved.

Since then, I've been very careful about the information I publish because we know most of the editors from the various yachting magazines follow YF for news and story ideas. Matter of fact, I was walking the docks at the Miami Show with Jamie Welch, the editor-in-chief of Yachts International. Jamie follows YF regularly and he's straightforward and honest about it.

    OK, thanks Carl.:)

Everyone seems to be able to do 45kts nowdays, so anything that can to a fair bit more (with a few friends on board) has my attention.

I don't hear much about Magnum boats, but they look pretty serious.

This is great. Some poor schmuck, alienated by the glitz and glamour, pacing his appointed furlong around the Miracle Mile, disgruntled by the lack of trim revealed this time of year, can't find his car for the deluge of brown and yellow snow, tired of his pathetic life in this low-rent, roach riddled maggot hole of a town...

How thoughtful of you to write. The weather's been awesome, dude. Wish you were here!:p

    Chitowner,

As an admin, I have the unenviable task of reprimanding members for misconduct. This won't be one of those times. :p :D
