Too bad about the pollution requirements.
Yes, the U.S. is stupid about some of it's laws.
But, we've got a great legal system to avoid some of them!

In a serious vein, there was the 10% sales tax rule of 1990 as well as the 10-90 ruling here in Florida ( which allowed a recently sold yacht to remain in state waters for an extended period of time for repairs/refit), both of which came to be as a result of pure economics---- the government was losing out on income by curtailing what yachtsmen could/couldn't do.

In the end, the almighty (well, it's shrunk some lately) dollar speaketh loudly!

Since MV was put to water it has instantly become my favourite.
That is strange for 2 reasons.
1. It isn’t Dutch
2. it’s a composite
The boat is as impressive as it is beautiful and that's an achievement considering the overall length.

The video is nice, but the buffering is a little big. Looking at it in Holland and it made my 2 weeks old VAIO duo core notebook stall 2 times in a row.
Maybe converting to streaming video would help.

Mirabella V video. She is impressive under sail...very very quick. And to think that the Maltese Falcon is faster than her.

"Mirabella V's", little sister was just successfully sold. "Mirabella" was up for sale through Camper Nicholson and was sold for around 2.9-Million.

Not a video but "Mirabella V" has been sold! The new owner plans an extensive refit of her and then intensive cruising there after.
