This is a 60ft. Carbon fiber weekend platform with chrome details and an epoxy covered wooden transom, powered by a set of triple IPS900´s.
Down below you´ll find a full beam master and two guest cabins up front with a galley in between.

The generously large deck area allows for 10 guests to dine under the carbon fiber hard top, grill and wet bar, a large sun-pad in the front and why not a pair of jet-skis on the aft deck.

    design #137

    BEAUTIFUL DESIGN!!!!!
This one is my favourite. (post #137)
Although would like to see it at a 60 ft version.

Mike, I have admired most of your designs and look forward to the day when we get to see some built and "splashed".

How do you go with copyright?
I have designed & built quite a few large houses (but I am not and architect) and soon after seen copies being built, sometimes on the same streets!

Hope you have some sort of protection. I remember reading about AMG (Lars) discovering one of his designs being ripped off and built without his permission. Very small world these days!

Looking forward to the next designs, thanks.

    I'll second that.
The 100' in post #137 struck a chord with me too!
    Beautiful work.

    Thanks guys!

George, I’ve read whats been written on the subject of copyright on the forums but to be honest I’m not sure where exactly that leaves me.
Is the design protected under copyright laws straight away when posted, or do I need to do anything else? What exactly does the law cover?
Does the law prevent anyone from using the image itself for republishing or the design from being built?

    Mike,
We are now both questioning copyright on design with no clear answer and I don’t believe there is a “cut and dry” answer.
I suppose each country has different laws. As for my own experience, I have successfully stopped two homes proceeding when using my and my companies design. However this was mainly luck in that I took an aggressive stance, used a good lawyer and threatened both the builders and their clients. I gained nil financially out of it.
If my “bluff” had been called, I doubt I would have pursued the matter. Litigation is rarely successful when the whole result is weighed. Comparing my situation to yours is not possible. I work in a small pond, you have shown the world your design.
How could you stop a Chinese company using your designs, or parts of it? No offence to Chinese business, but the fact is the new “wild west” of business is China.
    The US maybe different.
I believe your best option is to form an alliance with the right group, builder, engineers, interior designers etc. and add value to the already great profiles, with internals and hull design.

Really the people to answer this are the professional designers on this forum. I am just an enthusiast.

Inspired by the colors of Halloween, I think there should be a ”Jack Sparrow" edition of the previous concept. Folks, meet “Black Pearl”.

    Good work!

Mike I just have to say that I'm really impressed with your work.
My favourite is the 85m explorer so far. I'm sure you'll design a new favourite soon ;)

I would really like to see one of your designs become reality. It would sertainly get my vote.
