  1. Bemini

    _______

Clear about the props, never thought about that.

So double stepped hull will not help us out to win some speed. Maybe win some fuel efficiency with that?

What about when the supports from the bemini are rather big with a bending forward which is open as airintake and stand up like sorta chimney? Between the 2 "chimneys" rest the bemini roof in carbon layed-in with solar panels?

The 2 chimneys are connected with a radar bridge.

Windows maybe would look good when set to front, negative style.

Makes it possible to stretch the bemini maybe.

Is it possible with this classic fisher style hull to make bow straight you think?

Also could look "speedy" when maybe the front deck will bend little down.

Just some of my ideas.....don't laugh too much.... :D

There is a topic out with what is the ideal Yachtforum yacht.....

Can we try to make the ideal yachtforum weekend cruiser? So more impact from others?

Has to be possible to get to something great, look what Wally sold last years. I'm confident we can come up with something better and I'm willing to build one ;)

A more modern look, stepped hull (not sure when in combination with IPS though), stretched blue carbon Bimini, Ferrari style air intakes, still some sport fisher flavor but now with almost a straight bow and a “speedy”, slightly bent front deck and hopefully still some old school touch.

I tried the windows in a forward position but didn’t go for it.

    TKS Kajan,

    Looks stunning to me,
I changed with some rough stripes little to my idea. What do you think?

Transom open and maybe hydraulic extended swimming plat?

Sunroof shorter on back as well and all outside area can be bigger maybe so window more to the front.
Did you try to work with some dark colours for the hull and lighter for top side?

Thanks guys! Or perhaps toned down a bit?
I've stayed with white at this stage. It's easier to get the idea since I'm in 2D.

I like more the "Ferrari" style air intakes to keep clean side of the hull. More is less?

The roof looks little fixed when you know what I mean. Sure is fine lined but still on some way to present.....don't know exact how to explain.

Doesn't disappear in one soft line with the rest.

So former design with the negative transom and then a bemini....but how?

    Guys.....anybody else some great ideas?

…or like this, not to many details, just to put your ideas with the air intakes and “chimneys”, on paper.

WOW!, yes, this is indeed great.

Won't it be great when above the window it still remain open?

Now something difficult: is it possible technical to make rather big windows in the side of the hull without seeing the framing very well.

So that it looks almost like the glass is flush with the hull.

    Hum...

Yes, It’s possible to get the windows flushed with the hull, no problem.

My God you're fast....love this boat.
    Sunbed in the front deck.....?

Is there enough outer space? I mean maybe the middle section more to the front. Or will that break the great line too much?

Is there enough standing space down under? Figures pictured in the drawings look or big or the room between head and ceiling will zero.

    Am I wrong?

    Love this colour BTW

The figures are 183cm tall and there is plenty of head room below. The hardtop is curved so there is a clearance above the figures head. This is not a final “blue print”, it’s a conceptual design, giving a hint of what could be.

Form is to follow function and the specific details should be sorted out in order to get the final shape of things. If you’re serious about this and before I continue with further details and the GA, send me a private memo.

    Whoopieeee,

    Coloursssssss?

The stern would look great when the side airintake lines will run over it as well and then in 1960 look chrome?

Foldable stern? The front deck can be flush? now see the guy is standing inside sorta speak.

What's the size now Mike? I was thinking to go up to 55 or something.

    Way to go,

Hi YF members, lets all see your comments and lets try to design the most stunning tender out there. Blow away all existing ones.

In case we finally all agree it cannot be better I will raise funds and build it for a great review here on the site. Idea?

How comes the side glass is lower than the level of the windshield? Are those side glass 'windows' mechanically operable? like power windows in your car.
  19. ________

I cannot speak for Mike but this should be open always like this.

However this brings me to an idea that the carwindow idea can be great. Only does it technically be possible with such a long window?

Of course will be great to close it like this till the sunroof.

    Hum...Mike???
