    Hi,

    The easiest way find to do it these days is when it pops up in the PMS assign the task to the 2nd or 3rd engineers.

    I never spill a drop myself this way :D

    IF they are spin on filters............
    drain the motor....loosen the filter only about 1/8 of a turn...ice pick a hole about 2'' below the top of the filter on the low side of the angle....put a small bucket (not a pail) under to catch the oil and go have a beer......when it's done dripping ,wipe w/ a rag,cover the hole w/ duct tape and spin it off...you should have no more than 5 drops to clean up.:D

    if the engine has not been run to heat and change the viscosity of the oil, it might take 2 to 3 beers..:p

    another factor that enters is whether the boss is in town..:rolleyes:

    Y'all may have caught on to #13 below. Two days to change oil?? Rum, we don't need to stinking beer...
