I would say that Yacht Tenders in the traditional notion of the word should be smaller vessels that are lifted on or floated into the mother ship and carried at sea to new locations.

The recent upsurge in larger than normal "tenders" or what is often called Shadow Boats has changed all that to a certain degree.

Some of them are there themselves to carry large tenders for use by the Mother Ship and some are just used as is.

The trio that I think is the most impressive is: Golden Odyssey at 80.50m with it's supporters in the shape of Golden Shadow at 66.75m and Golden Osprey at 27.45m.

That's exactly what I said to myself. Where's the limit between a tender and a "support" yacht....in or out the mother ship.

Heli is not airborne.It is seaborne.Pilot, copilot and passengers are airborne.

When did that happen as the bird it normally carries still shows as a valid rego with no crash or accident data available.
