    I was fortunate to have the time and patience to really dig into the empty shell that I bought. I was able to locate areas structurally where the vessel could be improved and then work my way up from there. Yes, there were plenty of times where I wished she'd have cruised 35, but I always knew I was standing on one of the best built vessels afloat. I sold her to a family that decided she was the right boat to step up to from a 35 Contender, despite very little experience. I spent a good amount of time teaching them the nuance, and they used her quite a bit for a few years. She just resold and has left the country, last seen in Nassau. I'd love to have her back, but my time with her was very special.
