95-meter Lurssen Superyacht "Kismet" Concludes Sea Trials​

One of Lurssen's launches for 2014 is nearing the delivery finish-line. That's because the 95-meter superyacht "Kismet", the successor to the 68-meter ex. Kismet now "Global", has completed her sea trials. Her project name was actually 'Global' and even though she has not been delivered, she sports her polished Kismet nameplates proudly.

Built to a design by Espen Oeino, the 95-meter five-deck superyacht evokes pure style and luxury with a sumptuous interior by Reymond Langton. Sea trials for Kismet lasted for three days under ideal conditions. All mostly went well with rigid tests being done to the propulsion plant, pump jet, thruster and steering systems. Additionally, tests were done to cooling, lubrication, fuel systems, freshwater treatment units as well as blackout procedures and competency with regards to smoke test in the engine room. Since trials have been satisfactorily completed, Kismet is being prepared for delivery to her experienced owner later this month.
