I agree that the mass of the superstructure is less than what we have become used to for that size hull. None the less, I prefer a low profile to one that is too tall. So I will not fault the proportions in this case. But the surfaces in that superstructure just aren't developed right. Odd case.

Yes, I saw this too. It's the feature review in Jan/Feb issue of Boat USA International. Although I was dissappointed we didn't get the opportunity to review Air (Ice), you simply can't win 'em all. Maybe next time...

The magazines have a distinct advantage. Huge revenues, a large staff and they are the traditionally accepted medium. It might take a while, but with a little hard work... hopefully we'll get there too. I'll try to do better in 2006. :)

    An idea Carl,

Maybe you can have Gulfstream advertising on the site in exchange for them lending you an old G IV so you can go to Barcelona and take pics of Air or whenever the opportunity knocks... ;)

After all, many YachtForums readers and yacht owners have Gulfstreams or other private jets...

    LOL! :)

That would be nice, but getting back to the real world... I wish more of our European contingent could help out in the forums. These are some extremely bright guys with more knowledge than most of the editors I've met in the business.

    Lurssen website

Official Lurssen website updated their categories with 2 news section: Press Review and Video Lounge.
In video lounge there are the videos of Pelorus, Skat, Ice, Queen M, Phoenix and Ariel, in Press Review there is the pdf file with ICE's interiors.

They need to update Pelorus. It now has the Owner's private Heli-pad above the wheel house.
Nice videos...now if we could get them to video the interiors. I know it will never happen, but it would be nice.

The new name is *ICE* Ricardo, ever since she changed owners, all the same as the name still has something to do with the environment...
