Wow, that could really make sense. Her owner recently got a big help from the German tax payer. One of his companies just recieved a (non refundable) 1.8 Billion Euros Corona help.

DBowman78, I hope Your rumor is wrong.

Actually I was referring to the Palmer Johnson Lady M. Never a big fan of shortening boat names:)

I am afraid, both You and DBowman78 may be right. But among Yachties in the Med, Lady Moura was always referred to as Lady M and Palmer Johnson yachts were never on my Radar. That would in case be a really big step for this owner to go directly from 65 meter to 142 meter.

I remember my own step up in command of a ship from a 70 meter coaster to a 150 meter ocean cargo vessel, when working up the ladder in the family business. Those two vessel sizes were a totally different world both in handling and onboard management.

For a yacht of this size, one needs a real good yacht management company. And a large yacht with PYC certification and SOLAS helicopter operation with permanent onboard helicopter is not much less complex than a real aircraft carrier. That is why I keep the helo and the toys on the commercially registered shadow vessel and stick to my "normal" sized LY3 classed and Maltese Cross flagged yacht.

I like the design of the mast and the placement of the domes as well as the arrangement of the exhaust pipes. In my opinion it looks great.

I’ve heard she is on the floating dock for painting the final color.

    Really?
That is weird. Very unusual but interesting.
I can't wait to see it.

Ha someone noticed the aft swim ladder? It's extremely huge!!! Maybe it hides a..Jacuzzi :)
I know..it doesn't make any sense but it would be a nice feature to have a Jacuzzi or a mini pool there.

Multiple sources state that her final name will be "NORD".

I wonder what the dimensions are but has to be perhaps one of the largest installed on a yacht. I know "Luna's" pool is also very large...perhaps the largest.

Definitely her name is "NORD" in some other photos of her during her first set of sea trials, the O part of the OPUS name on the prow lifted enough for you to see can 'N' behind it! There is also in the teak-work on the swim-platform, an 'N'.

    Any clues about Nord's engines?

The Crescent/FF/Scheherazade trio is powered by MTU 1163 M84 engines (16 cylinder variant in Flying Fox, 20 cylinders in the other two) but that's somewhat expected, considering they were built using the same platform. Don't know if Nord belongs to the same "class".

This design is one of the best in the world with her color scheme. Good video too.

I never realized there was a search light on the bow! I haven't looked at the mast in that much detail as yet but I assume there are search lights up there too.
