As I already said in the Lürssen News thread that Katara left Bremen and is Bremerhaven at the moment. But now I saw that she is in a drydock, maybe new underwater painting?

Found this photo interesting of her 'sticking out' of the palms. Seems to be in Spain. All sizes | cleaning the katara | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
AIS shows her to be in TARRAGONA today. Here she is looking pretty in Barcelona on August 14th. Katara | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
I'm curious though, where is A7-HMD...I realize many times when in Europe she does not carry her bird in the Summer Season. Then take it on for Atlantic crossings to use and show off in the Caribbean in Winter Seasons?
Hi, Helicopters like anything deteriorate when exposed to a salty atmosphere. It is quite possible that the machine is parked in a hanger out of the elements when not in use or on standby. As for "showing off", with or without a Helicopter onboard that is a fairly impressive vessel to say the least. Rolling up to an anchorage in that could surely be considered showing off in itself.
Yeah of course but some owners just have birds on deck for show, they hardly use them. Sometimes they are a permanent fixture. I know down here in the Caribbean, "Katara's" helicopter gets used alot especially here in Barbados. I just wanted to know why you weren't seeing it onboard in Europe, thanks.
Quick flash across "Katara" while she was here last year... Awesome Yacht - YouTube and her in Monaco at night! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p69jHRAY7T4&nofeather=True
Never seen her PWCs/skis stored on the helipad before. I guess the helicopter is not in use where she is right now so they freed up the bow where the PWCs/skis are normally stored. http://photos.marinetraffic.com/ais/showphoto.aspx?photoid=1382720&size=full
