Not really, all I know about it I have heard while sailing with and socialising with former crew members.

Some of the things discussed did not have anything to do with the vessel itself.

Family intel still works :). From today at the beach,

Radiant leaving Wilhelmshaven after her refit at Neue Jadewerft (Lürssen). Btw. walking in the mud during low tide is very famous among tourists on all beaches at the North Sea. They even have horse races and soccer games in the mud!

Also the Jade Bay is a tidal water with a difference between high and low tide of about 13 feet, the minimum depth (at low tide) below the keel of Radiant will always be around 60 feet. Wilhelmshaven is the only natural deep water harbour (without dredging) of Germany. Bigger box carriers, cruide oil tankers and bulkers have to deload part of their cargo at Wilhelmshaven prior going the Elbe or Weser River upbound. The navigable water is held deep automatically by the tide because of the high current comming through the bottle neck of the Jade Bay. Only the turning circle in front of the oil pier and the berthing area itself will be dredged out to the required depths. For good reasons, mandatory pilot assistance is required for commercial vessels and larger yachts.

Radiant has a new helicopter (Airbus H155)

The photo was taken by heli3 in Barcelona.

On a side note, that's the first aircraft I've seen with a San Marino registration.

I did not know that this little country had its own aeronautical approval authority and its own aircraft registration.
This country is so small, any decent runway would stick out of its border on both ends (literally speaking) :). The only little airfield of San Marino has one 2100 ft gras runway. Just joking.

But it is the oldest republic of the world (302 AD) and a beautiful little country. In 1915, San Marino declared war to Germany and never cancled this declaration. Does that mean, we are still in a state of war with them :D ?
With the preparedness and the defence readiness of the German and some other European Forces at the moment, I think, we would be in trouble.
