Carinthia VII arrived in Hamburg on Monday and is now at Lürssen-Blohm & Voss for refit until March / April 2023 Buying quality first hand always pays off.
Can’t wait to see how she will come out of her refit. She is at her home yard for the refit if I recall correct?
Tell me about it. American engines, I drove a Magnum 50 in the 90s with Caterpillar 3412 engines. Smoke like hell if you had to idle in port. The 2 strokes had a great sound and a lot were around in the 80s. Worst I've experienced were the ones in Carinthia 6 when it had three engines. The smoke had your eyes watering and set off a cough. Lines men would just walk off LOL
Guys...make some pop corns and enjoy! This is the website that a beauty like her deserved! https://www.yachtcarinthia7.com/ ...for the first time it's possible to see the aft passerelle in action in a video!!!
Luerssen has just announced on Instagram that Carinthia VII will be at the Monaco Yacht Show following the extensive refit...that was fast!
Oh it's true!!! Not sure the light blue windows fit on black walls. We have to wait and see...and keep fingers crossed.
The interior contents of Carinthia have been put up for sale https://auctionet.com/de/2957234-ki...obel-deckmobiliar-teakholz-sessel-picket-bunt
This is disappointing. She went from looking elegant and distinctive to looking like “Here Comes The Sun” or some other boring Amels
I agree with most the subtle change looks great on her, you wouldn’t want to make a big design change to an iconic yacht like her. Well done.
