I'm pretty sure that those are the GA's for QUATTROELLE and not project Global. If I am wrong, please send those GA's this way.

Looks like they are trying pretty hard to hide what ever that is on the bow.

How long is she exactly? Seems like alot agree she is 90-meters but one establishment says 93-meters, is that because Project 'Global' has a bow sprit of sorts? ***** says she is 90-meters but the renderings there do not include the projection.

So... the bow-sprit begs the question: Why?

For a steadying sail? :D. Or that is a holder for a big figurehead like on Phoenix2?

Well the rendering of "Global" that I saw didn't have any bow figurine on it it was just the extension so maybe no figurehead based on the rendering.

90-meter yacht but reportedly is 93-meters, bow sprit extension is the extra 3-meters I suppose.

That bow-sprit is pure pastiche. And a pitty, because the yacht looks gorgeous.

I can not realize any practical use of that bow-sprit on modern Mega-Yachts.
Only additional troubles during mooring at ports.
It seems to me that Phoenix2 simply opened a new fashion of old-style figure-heads on modern yachts.
Looking forward to see more such items in future.

I believe Global may be the replacement for Kismet, who's sale was announced today along with news that Kismet 2 will be 94m and available for charter in 2014.

***** Yacht & Ship announced the launch of "Kismet II" (Global) for September 2014! It is a pity she can not attend the MYS 2014 as I had hoped it.

Her charter rate is a whopping 1,250,000 euros / week!

I saw that as well but it seems weird that they say launched and available for charter then. Perhaps she will be launched before that and ready for charter by then?
