"Azzam" has made another appearance in Gibraltar right after S/Y "A" went there.

"Azzam" arriving into Gibraltar. She always had that radar on the roof by the Satcom balls? Also ,,,what is that on the aft main deck? Some kind of reel? I can't remember seeing that there before.

I don't think so. The first time she passed through was when she was new and headed to Abu Dhabi.

Well, i have never seen it retracted before...so might be plausible this was recently done. I know some of these yachts have this feature not just to get under bridges but more to allow the crew to be able to clean the mast when it gets sooted up from the uptakes. "A+" ex. "TOPAZ" comes to mind.

According to some media outlets the owner of Azzam has passed away. I imagine it will be passed down to someone in the ruling family.

The fact that this beast can achieve such high speeds at such a massive length is stunning and something I still admire and wonder about to this day. To make Azzam a comfortable ride at that speed is a engineering feat.

Not to double post but I sure hope we can one day see a video that shows her at top speed.

Wow really nice find! I was just thinking about Azzam the other day since we don’t see or hear much about Azzam anymore which is a shame.
The video does give us a really good glimpse into the massive size of Azzam and what goes into a refit of such a yacht.
I can only hope we see more of Azzam underway in the near future.
