I was really curious about that as well. When they pulled her off (the original) Ulysses, my assuption was the owner was going to put the cat on the new 380'. But, that doesn't seem to be the case. I thought the cat was an interesting boat that would have given the owner a lot of options in very shallow water. But, it was a bit of a prototype and the interior of the ship looked very utilitarian and not luxurious at all. A Princess 68 is, of course, extremely well-finished and reasonably well-tested and reliable. I wonder if he simply made the switch for the differences in interior aesthetics or if it was an operational issue with the cat or something else altogether.

The VanDutch 40 is a nice secondary tender also. Both tenders have beautiful custom Flag Blue paint to match the mothership.

Not on Andromeda and not going to be on the new one so I wouldn’t be surprised if the custom cat is for sale.

I believe that its currently being repainted into navy blue color that the new Ulysses has.

So you are saying the Princess 68 is just a substitution for now?

I know this thread is for the "Andromeda" (ex. "Ulysses") but I just came across this new video of the new "Ulysses"... she is looking good!

I had a quick tour of the new one last week. It is very nicely done if you ask me.

She looks excellent! Love the hull compared to the other one. You can see there are some new features on this one compared to the last one. Both of them are excellent but just because of the hull color on this one.. the new one takes the best looking one out of the two imo

Did you see that reflection in that blue. You could read the vendor details from the vans, trailers, clouds and back buildings in it perfectly. No ripples.
On a surface that large, that is amazing. As close to mirror quality you can get on a dark surface.

I was lucky enough to see Ulysses in Athens a couple of days ago. (Sadly I had no camera equipment on me.) Now I have seen both the new and the old Ulysses. Andromeda in Barcelona last year. This was before her hull was faired and repainted. At the time she looked very impressive, industrial and certainly something different than usual.

Now the new Ulysses really is something else. The dark blue faired hull looked absolutly stunning. Also the extra 9 meters did her well. In my opinion Andromeda always looked a bit short compared to her height. The new one doens't have this problem what so ever. The back of the yacht looks like it hasn't changed lenghtwise. Other than the extra front faced windows it also seems like the bow is a bit longer. Certainly an impressive vessel.

Ps. Also the tenders had a big upgrade. Including matching hull colors.

You can see on the latest photo's the custom cat is back on board. Hart wanted to keep the cat and transfer her to the new Ulysses, the guy who bought the older Ulysses (now Andromeda) insisted the cat came with the yacht. Hart could have built a new cat for the new Ulysses, but he hasn't. Maybe a cat will appear on his next built.

No doubt that's actually boat wrap, not paint.

Are you saying Hart doesn't own the current Ulysses? Hart owns Felham Enterprises Cayman Ltd, which is the registered owner of Ulysses. Felham is the entity that has owned all his yachts.

At YachtForums we are discussing yachts, not the owners...
