   It is after you have just changed the crank or shifted the cam timing fwd to increase the output, that sweet song means its going again and as long as you don't have too many extra parts in your parts tray it should keep going. Two stroke diesels are very much like a gas engine in that a top tune can make quite a difference to their operation.

   Dear Lord, that just sounds like a lawnmower with a stuck throttle.
   
   I've had any number of 8/92s and none of them ever sounded that dreadful.
