Nothing but room ... maybe get a big dog? :D
But ya, I know what you mean, I used to do that with my girlfriend when I was young too.
Roach Harbour for the 4th of July, Ganges, Montague, Friday, Pender, Hornby, etc...
You can easily spend a lifetime just exploring a 500 mile radius.

    Here's another one I like...a Willard 30'.
Yes, so much to see here in our Gulf Islands or north to Desolation & Discovery Islands.
We would put one of those boats mentioned above to good use!...just got to check those lottery #'s!

I don’t know Brian, that: Willard, Nordic Tug and North Pacific appear a bit “Toy Like” being the size they are. IMHO
I would go with a larger older boat, for similar or a bit more money.

All the locals are hitting the water for another year, but the BIG Boats are strangely absent, for now anyway...

Looks like a 23' Hourston Brian, I had one for over 10 years and had all kinds of fun cruising from Vancouver to Desolation Sound and back.

    Best regards,

    Brian Shillito.

Hi Brian, you're close but ours is a Double Eagle (similar though).
    That's a nice clean Hourston!
Can you suggest some good one boat anchorages up there and along the way?

“The world’s oldest fibreglass boatbuilding company”…. Who knew.
Living on the west coast, I’m sure everyone has been salmon fishing in their deep vee boats at one time or another.
I have a friend with one, we trailed it many times to Becher Bay (Sooke) for some trophy Sockeye, (back in the day).
    Solid Boats.

OMW, last night at about 18:30 hrs. I was "looking out my window" and saw the Sir Wilford Laurier coming through Burrard Inlet so I pulled out the binoc's, watched her cruise by and thought "I wonder if Out My Window will get a shot of her"! I love these Canadian Coast Guard Ships, they look invincible!

    Thanks for posting these, Brian.

Looks like the SWL is transporting prefabricated material for our "Ice station zebra" somewhere along the North West Passage.
I'm looking forward to the new $720m, 140 metre long Polar Class Icebreaker "Diefenbaker" (name subject to change pending ruling party at launch).
