    Hi,

The first pic in Post 293 almost looks like a trailer mounted Boston Whaler of some vintage, there would not be room for that and the Chopper at the same time so it makes me wonder if it really belongs up there.

The big tender we built (for the model) was a Chris Craft Catalina center console & put in on the "water".
The chopper (and I must say Yachtnews, you have a good eye for them as that is exactly what we built) was put up top to indicate a touch and go pad...plus it looks neat:)

It looks to me that there's not enough room for the helo even with the deck all to itself. The space between the rotors and those sat domes looks less like touch and go... and more like touch and crash.

I think the blades have clearance of 9' to the domes and 8' to the bimini.

With a portugese bridge? DK that one. Kind of reminds me of a Defever.

Looks like a circa 1980 Stephens FBMY to me.

    Best regards, Brian.

Well that would mean if a helo is to be used the toys have to be put in the water to make way for the pad. Fed up crew I hear?;)

Sweet... you caught Odessa! I toured the boat just before it splashed. Very unique interior. Quite a contrast from anything Christensen has done before. There's also something else that's very unique, but I won't expand on it now. It's an important part of the new build and the editorial I'll focus on. I'm not expecting to have photography before the end of October, so the review probably won't go live until after FLIBS.

Anybet this must have something to do with her Black hull as she is the first Christensen to have one?

The Pacific Northwest Yachting season is slowly grinding to a halt, will need YF to set me up in Hawaii for the next 6 months.

What is Itasca's new name? I seem to remember she was sold since the last time I saw her.

    Wow!

Talk about a round-the-world refit. I've been through a few dodgy shipyards over the years but these guys win.
