There is NO post processing in that photo.
A small sliver of cloud opened up at sunset creating those colours during continuos lightning strikes.

Did we get it?...we were in it!
It was a wonderful clear day so we decided to go out to Thormanby Island in the evening. It was calm but by the time we got over (10 min.) it was blowing pretty good. We tucked in a somewhat protected bay and anchored. We went ashore and watched it kick up to probably 30 knots, whitecaps, 3-4' waves, thunder & lightning...really wild. Not knowing if it was going to continue or end, we piled in our boats (20 & 26') and made for home. The waves were coming over our bow and spray blowing right over us. We arrived at our dock where is was a 10 knot wind and relative calm!
The sea can be an unpredictable thing!

In a continuing quest in finding the world's best Fish & Chips, my search took us to Steveston, a fishing village at the mouth of the Fraser River.

I've looked at the site previously, thanks. I was merely curious if it was the same boat, or another classic with a similar look.

Yes, it looks like she's following me around, or vice-versa.

Here's a wallpaper of Hesquiat, for any fish boat fans out there. Who knows maybe one day she will undergo a metamorphosis into a luxury Yacht.

    Peace Boat

I had never heard of the "Peace Boat". According to the web site...
Peace Boat is a Japan-based international non-governmental and non-profit organization that works to promote peace, human rights, equal and sustainable development and respect for the environment.

Peace Boat seeks to create awareness and action based on effecting positive social and political change in the world. We pursue this through the organization of global educational programmes, responsible travel, cooperative projects and advocacy activities. These activities are carried out on a partnership basis with other civil society organizations and communities in Japan, Northeast Asia, and around the world.

Peace Boat carries out its main activities through a chartered passenger ship that travels the world on peace voyages. The ship creates a neutral, mobile space and enables people to engage across borders in dialogue and mutual cooperation at sea, and in the ports that we visit. Activities based on Japan and Northeast Asia are carried out from our eight Peace Centers in Japan.

I had not heard of Peace Boat and checked the website also. They had a picture of a nicer looking boat. This old girl looks like she's seen better days.

The name of the yacht is "Katherine". I was wondering if the builder was Knight & Carver?

You're right... Knight & Carver built in 1990.
