Original owner Henry McManus of London Onterio.

I did some research yesterday and was able to get hold of the original owners son "Walter McManus" whom had inherited the boat. We talked for about 1.5 hr he had some great stories of the boat. It had been in their family for about 26 years. This morning he sent me this picture. Finally a great picture of our boat in the water.

    Thanks!

I can't wait to get it back looking like that again. Thankfully it won't take much.

    Winter

Have I told any of you guys lately just how much I hate winter?

So far its been mild. 2" of snow and averaging 25 degrees. I shouldn't complain.

But its still considered Winter, the water around here is frozen and I HATE IT !

I just want to get working on my boat.

Oneiros, I had to take a quick look at a map to see exactly where you are located at. Heck, by the looks of it your alot further North than we are! Looks like a neat area for boating. If I ever hit the lottery (which I never play) I would love to visit. Wish I did have the money for a trip like that. First things first, get her in the water.lol.

Erik, you have your self a deal. Look very forward to meeting you, maybe this comming summer? By mid to late summer I hope to have her in the water. She will be berthed at the Riverside Marina, Duluth, Minnesota, on Lake Superior.

    Another Pic and Update.

We left Williston, ND. at the end of June and have moved to Duluth, MN. (Lk Superior). Our boat is still up at Lk Of The Woods 200 miles from here. We are still waiting on some $ before we can get her moved over here so that we can begin working on her. I'm hoping this will happen withen the next couple months. I did pick up a nice little 14' Boston Whaler with a 70 horse Johnson to play with, what a blast of a little boat. I think it will work out pretty well for a tender for the bigger boat, but we'll have to see.

    Update.

My mom decided to retire and move in with us. She wants to go on the boat ride to the East Coast with us. We are going to combine assets to work together to get the boat moved here to Lk. Superior and try to get in the water this summer and head out. She is moving in on the 16th, you can't imagine how excited my wife is about this. lol I'm sure it will all work out. Though my fingers are still crossed for good luck!
I just want to get the boat moved here so I can start working on it. In the mean time, one of the ways to deal with the winter blues, is to attend the Minneapolis Boat Show this weekend. Yeaaaaaa! I even got free tickets!
