    Should have, could have, wood have, but didn't. Still quite happy where I and wife ended up. 50 yrs. of marriage Aug 7 and still counting.

    Hi Kate,
    I'm 53. Just worked 2 solo stew jobs.
    A few captains I have talked to said they prefer people our age as we listen, follow orders, are more mature, have a stronger work ethic and don't bring the drama.

    Try searching for smaller yachts instead of charters
