I'll be at the Moevenpik Hotel in Amsterdam on June 19th & 20th. If you will be in town, maybe we can meet at the hotel? I am living by Text Messages on this trip because AT&T charges one Ferrari-per-minute to talk.

Nice idea! I am living 50 Kilometers apart from Bremen. So it's not a circumnavigation for me :)

The earliest time I can be there is at 6 PM or 7 PM at monday or tuesday.

    Hi all!

Posting from my iPhone, on the road and between yards. The tour has been non-stop, leaving no time to log-on. And that won't change anytime soon. The hotels in Holland charge by the hour for WiFi and I'm wiped by the time we get to hotel.

So far, we have visited Feadship, Vitters, Royal Huisman and Hakvoort. Took lots of pictures, but will have to wait until I return home to upload. Were currently on our way to see Neco vanBreeman, then Amels, Moonen and Oceanco tomorrow.

Hope all is well with everyone. I miss YF!

    Hi,

Sounds like it's pretty full on as you suspected.

The road trip from Makkum to AMS can be an amazing adventure in itself if you are unlucky enough to encounter the daily migration when traveling.

We had a few close shaves when at meetings at the old AMELS and then trying to get flights out of AMS, this led to an increase in meetings at the airport or nearby and then everything moved to Schelde which was a challenge on it's own.

    Just checking in...

Put in 90 hours on the HISWA tour this week. Taking Saturday off to be a tourist, catch up on shut-eye and taste the town. Took a ton of pics, but the majority of them are detail images I'll use for future reviews. I would upload a few, but the SD card reader on my laptop has reached the end of its life cycle and I don't have an umbilical cord for my digi-cam. Funny, I said cycle. Must be all the bikes in Amsterdam influencing my thoughts. Have many a thought to share, but will wait for a later date. For now, I'm in Amsterdam and the town is waiting...

Don't miss the maritime museum too, and see if the incredible private library of nautical lore for centuries still remains there in the basement. A surprise highlight for me with an invite years ago.
