    7 years difference in age, so the Mainship may present itself better. Given the age and what I would anticipate as the type of usage anticipated there is really no advantage to diesel, the mainship's gas motors will probably be cheaper to service and engine replacement would be cheaper should that situation arise. That said, I too would be looking behind door #3 as well. I'd also sea trial and bring in someone trusted & knowledgeable first, before putting out for the survey.
