The red bulb is an interesting touch. Really catches the eye in photos. Shows up the ventilation occurring on top also - probably not the speed it is intended to work at for greatest efficiency though.
You can find photos of the nearly finished (exterior) Project "Alida" on the Facebook page of Dutch Yachting. She is a really good looking yacht, by far my favourite in this class.
I wonder what is usually paid for Heesen's yachts. It was publicly listed for some time that the 47m series asks €29.9M but Ruya is down to €27.9M. I assume Heesen is still at a profit position on her but I wonder what the actual price paid usually is for some of these semi-custom builds.
There are also interior photos of "Home" as well. Looks pretty nice... she will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)
Heesen is getting ready to launch its fully custom 51m by Harrison Eidsgaard design. Seems like she will be quite a good looking yacht!
Heesen has reported sold their largest build to date. An 80-meter all-aluminium yacht with FDHF by Van Oossanen and exterior styling by Winch Designs. If you ask me, it looks like the same people behind "Galactica Super Nova". The new 80-meter will be built under Project name Cosmos and be delivered in 2022.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s called Galactica Cosmos. I’m not a big fan of how she looks. There’s something off about that top deck.
