Another yacht currently under construction at Heesen is Project 'Aura', a 50-meter. A true bluewater motor yacht ideal for cruising, Aura being built under yard number 19650 features a displacement hull designed by Heesen’s in-house team of naval architects and engineers. Two MTU 8V4000 M63 engines provide a top speed of 15-knots to travel and explore new horizons. A bulbous bow allows her to glide through the water with ease. At 50-meters, this cutting-edge design boasts a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13-knots. The yacht is presently fitting out after the hull and superstructure were joined. Next step will be technical launching.

A sit down talk with Pascale Langton of Reymond Langton Design on the interior design of Project 'Aura' which is presently under construction.

Project 'Aura' is scheduled to be launched towards the end of October 2021.

Well she recently just launched and it isn't exactly October but many yards are still experiencing supply-chain issues...not sure if that is the situation here.

Project 'Aura' current name is "Ocean Z".
