Here are the complete GA drawings of Octopus, for those who are still interested, in a reasonable resolution. The original GA files are far to large for posting.

In my personal opinion, Octopus would have deserved a better owner with better maintenance care and more use. She is sitting after some charter tours in the Adria back at her usual berth in Marseille.

I am not sure, wheather Mr. S. will keep (or can keep) Octopus for a longer period of time and use her as she was built for. And I really hope, the beautiful yacht Octopus will not go down the drain!

    Just my 3 (Euro) cents

Not 2 (Euro) cents any more? Must be inflation! ;)

Nice joke Carl, no inflation, just finger trouble :).

But honestly, Octopus is such an iconic yacht, she is far too good to let her go to waste. Even her sick bay for example is more luxurious than some other yachts guest cabins.

    OCTOPUS sickbay.JPG

The last time, I had a tour on Octopus, she was in pristine conditions. The hull super clean and spit shine polished, the interior clean like an operating room and absolutely no evidence of any wear and tear.

Built in 2003 and looking like just recently delivered. The big MTU generators are good for some 6 to 8 thausend more operating hours.

To bad, I was to stingy. Our last offer was 25 Mio below her final sale price. Am I jealous? Yes I am. That is the reason, why I hope, she will soon be back on the market. The drums are telling about it allready.

I did the math... $0.02 in 2003 is actually $0.03 in 2021 (49.1% inflation in the past 18 years).

    He Kevin,

first I am talking about Euro Cents. So, 2 Euro Cents are 2.3 US $ cents. Second, the last time I used this phrase with 2 Euro cents was early this year. 3 Euro cents are 3.5 US $ cents at the moment. That is an inflation of 52 % in one year.

At least I am good for a running gag :p.
