Good history on Wikipedia. Just google Theodore Too Wiki. A replica. Single Cat 3406. Have seen him too over the years. He turns 20 next year. Seaworthy though. Has been to Tampa and back and still sailing.
Sorry, Kevin & Roger, I didn't mean to hijack the thread with Theodore. No, Theodore is not a working tug but obviously seaworthy since she has made the trip from Halifax to Ft. Lauderdale and back. The Canadian Maritimes are spectacular and I highly recommend them for beautiful and interesting cruising, sightseeing, and fishing. Our northern neighbors are polite and helpful and appreciate us Americans as visitors. If you haven't been to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, & Labrador, you're missing some very special islands. And it's just a hop and a skip from Maine. Judy
As Judy says Eastern Canada is a beautiful place this is a picture from my balcony of a small fishing town just below Dartmouth Nova Scotia and also tug Theodore Too is used for harbor tours
Beautiful shot - should be a jigsaw puzzle. Remember the movie "The Perfect Storm"? I believe the blue/green vessel docked starboard to is the same fishing boat class that was used in the movie.
Halifax harbour is going to be buzzing in a few months: https://sailgp.com/news/23/halifax-rockwool-canada-sail-grand-prix-announced/ Anyone here planning on being there? I'm going, almost certainly.
