Thanks techmati. A few of those might rate an honorable mention on the ROGUES thread ;)

Thanks for posting these yachts Techmati. You seem to get quite a few yachts in Greece and ones we don't see very often.

    Ditto!

    Thanks William!

I'm living life vicariously through your cameras lens, because I've been a slave to the keyboard for days. Virtual tours of harbors around the world are an all time favorite. This was a really enjoyable tour because a couple of these yachts were foreign to me (pun intended). When our winter residents return, I promise to reciprocate.

    Thanks again! :)

Oops! Techmati, I'm sorry if my ROGUES comment seemed like a criticism of your photography! Quite the contrary, I think you are doing a great job. And if truth be known, I enjoy seeing the "odd" yachts even more than the "beautiful" ones. As after a while all the beautiful ones start looking the same.

Man, that is an amazing harbor you have there! :)

When you're moored in a marina with massive yachts either side of you, does it not feel slightly intrusive, with yachts so close? Not having been on yachts that large, that close together, I dont know what it's like, and it seems that way when you look at the photos.

Not only does it feel intrusive... it's a watch nightmare on a good vessel. Security people are very jumpy and the poor guy on watch is ready on a hair trigger to get out of there in case of fire. Unfortunately getting out in an emergency could be almost impossible in some of the more crowded places. Oddly enough I've been on board a couple of vessels in these crowded places and the crew wasn't in the least concerned.
