   Mental Floss: Some boats do the Great Loop on trailers, plunking in here and there. Some do on their bottom, but take many years to complete. But is it considered doing the Great Loop when the boat does it without the people?

   Well yeah, the title is Valhalla does the loop, so yes the boat has done the loop. The 75' Hatteras I did the loop in, in 2008. The owner never stepped foot on the boat during any part of the loop, just used it in Chicago for the summer. He can say his boat has done the loop.
