Well, we changed the view from our bow cam (Valhalladoestheloop.com) . After laying up for about 6 weeks at Atlantic Yacht Basin in Great Bridge we moved Valhalla up to Waterside in Norfolk yesterday for the AGLCA (American Great Loop Cruiser's Assoc.) rendezvous. Our original plan was to head up to NY 3 weeks ago, but we decided to hold for the Rendezvous.
Our cruising plan now is to head back out this Friday, up the Chesapeake, across the C&D canal, down the Delaware River to Cape May and then ocean up to NY for hopefully a short stay before heading up the Hudson,

Not receiving a display during the day.

Last night viewed a pic of boat, today, the dreaded boxed x.

Microsoft messed around with settings back in February. Here's what my IT guy gave me. After a little playing around with compatibility settings I got it back up on all my devices.

    From my IT guy:
"Try compatibility mode. I think Microsoft changed something recently that is forcing you to have to do this for some things to work.

Click the gear at the top right, then Compatibility Mode Settings then add the website to the list. "

P.S. The video is live from 0800 to 1900 during each leg of the cruise.

Sorry, but I don't have a clue what that means. I've never done a screen shot and the last token I used was for a NYC subway. Computer security has gotten way past the average guy's understanding. We all need to be hiring the team that straightened out Healthcare.gov.:)

I had to go into compatability mode and reinstall the AXIS camera; now works fine.

    Thanks, Ed.

Compatibility Mode has the webcam viewable.

MS did a forced migration from XP - fun, fun, and more fun. :D

The 360 check for signal was a great opportunity to promote YF (T-Shirt).

May 9 2014 Friday Back at it without YF T Shirt.jpg

View attachment 65919 [/QUOTE]You know, I'm starting to get unsure about this bowcam. That's the second screen shot I've seen from today taken when I'm slacking off. This could be bad for my reputation.:D. Hey world, I really am working when I'm off camera.:D

    Check the time stamp.

It was after 5:00 PM - Banker's hours and all that stuff.

P.S.- ("Hey world, I really am working when I'm off camera.")

Off camera? Did not realize you were a member of SAG. :D

It lasted 26 seconds'. You know how it is on a boat like this. Always something to do.
Tonight we're in Solomons Is., probably one of the prettiest harbors in the Chesapeake. Tomorrow we'll head up to Delaware City on the C&D. Haven't been there in about 15 years. I usually stop at Summit.

Question for anyone who knows: In Norfolk there's a ferry or shuttle that goes over to Portsmouth. I never noticed before because I generally stay at Tidewater, but at night it has an 360* green strobe light well higher than the masthead and anchor light. First time I'd ever seen one. What's the story?

Within the hour we'll pull into Delaware City. Not a usual stop on the Loop. I haven't been there in 15 years. Should be interesting. Hope I don't have to backtrack to Summit.

Bad cell coverage in south jersey. Should be back up now as we're coming into Cape May. We'll be going through to the ocean an then up to Atlantic City.
