Hah! My Mercedes diesel in my station wagons and many others are quite bullet proof. Easily some of the best diesels ever made. Please recall for quite a long time MTU was under/with the DB/Mercedes wing.

Not really a problem. It's like any new boat, you have to learn how it all works. His old boat was a very deep-V, the new Sealine was much flatter, so handled much differently in wind and tide.

Well, with any of the systems. The Zues or IPS, they are only as good as the manufacturer tunes the computer and programs it. Everything has to be programmed to make them go sideways to turning at speed with the steering wheel. Cabo spent 400 hours on Cabo Uno tuning the Zues system and doing the programming......many other manufacturers spend the bare amount of time setting up the initial programming.

    Hi Fishtgua,
We have a 2013 Regal 42SC with 400 IPS. All of a sudden the boat will only go to 3450 rpm. The Volvo mechanic has checked everything including props and can't find anything wrong. Is this normal? We have never touched anything with the props. Please help, will be so grateful!
