  1. TECHNICAL DETAIL SECTION

This is a good feature to have on any boat. Sometimes it may seem like an unnecessary add-on but these remote helm station controls on the aft of the boat assist with Mediterranean-style docking. Throttle and thruster controls make the task of berthing stern-to alot easier even in windier conditions. These controls are located outside of the salon sliding doors on the starboard side.
  2. Moving into the engine room onboard the prominent pieces of equipment are the twin MTU series 60 engines that propel Beautiful Life. As mentioned previously these engines were serviced. A nice clean white engine room is also attractive.
  3. A closer look at one of the MTU series 60 powerplants. Upgraded LED light conversion throughout vessel which includes this engine room. Often times the engine room can be neglected and good clean lighting is essential in a tight space to allow for initial visual inspections.
  4. The engines have relatively low hours on them and with the recent servicing and maintenance work done in the engine room, Beautiful Life is ready to take her new owners on their next adventure. Looking at fuel filters to one of the MTU series 60 engines. What is white is white and what is polished is well polished!
  5. You need plenty of water for a Beautiful Life and this 59 Marquis is equipped to hydrate.
  6. Battery bank: The new 800-hour house battery bank setup comprise of -- Core Series Deep-Cycle Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries. In practical terms, when fully charged they can provide three-day operation capacity before running generator! This is a good time to talk about the photovoltaics that are mounted on the custom arch over the flybridge enclosure. That is a new 400-watt solar system costing around $20,000). Along with that there is a new Victron Solar Controller for the 400-watt solar panel system.
  7. These are the electronic controls for the MTU Series 60 engines. This display is located in the lower helm station on the overhead brow.
  8. There are stabilizers onboard the 2004 Carver 59 Marquis. What you are looking at are the stabilizer controls for the Naiad Marine upgraded Roll Stabilizer fins for a smoother ride.
  9. Garmin GPS: Although Garmin has discontinued this particular piece of equipment, it still does its job. GPSMAP 741xs combination chartplotter/sounder allows for easy visibility, day or night. Whether it is flat-, flush- or gimble-mounted, it will be the focal point of your helm. It has media integration and autopilot compatibility, radar support, and NMEA 2000 and wireless connectivity. It includes their hallmark user-friendly interface as well as both BlueChart g2 coastal and LakeVü HD inland mapping for the U.S.
