I wouldn't have expected something like this from Feadship.

Yep the raised pilothouse works here better than on her 'stepsisters' IMO... She has definitely got a sleeker, casual and more elegant appearance. A VERY fine looking vessel!

Ken, I think the Feadship yachts launched in recent years vary widely (styling wise), probably because the clients got more demanding for customized designs (without the classic Feadship lines). I mean just look at "Madame Gu" or "Tango". So for me a styling like this is not surprising at all..

Was Como available for charter? Or did her owners let interior photos of her to be released?

    Visibility

I am sure the design of this vessel will fulfill all requirements for its classification but as far as visibility from the wheelhouse is concerned, this design at least looks like being close to the limits.

I was thinking about the same thing. It still seems better than the PJ 210.

Apparently Feadship is building three 30m yachts.

Yeah I read that elsewhere, that's interesting if that is true. The SL39 stopped now they going 30-meter? This is a new subclass of just a oneoff limited edition?

Wow while all the big yards are building bigger and bigger yachts.

From what I read, it sounds custom. Again, from what I have been reading, it seems that Feadship is trying to exit their semi custom lines (F45, SL39) and go exclusively for custom builds.

Feadship relaunches ex. "Helix" as "Megan". Remember Helix was sold mid last year and now has new owners and indentity.

I think the semi-custom lines were not hugely successful because of pre-defined limitations on interior styles and making them too building block. And, the economic conditions... not going into that one.

Both the F39 and F45 were and are wonderful yachts. The F45 has the best layout of any motor yacht in my opinion. But I did not like exterior style so well. The F39 Kathleen Anne is a beautiful boat and shows what could be accomplished with customization. Maybe it is part marketing perception.

    Here is Kathleen Anne
Welcome to the website of M.Y. Kathleen-Anne

    or

Though Kathleen Anne is exceptional and customized... its maybe the exception.

And, for the prices Feadship charges people now days want more custom.
You might wonder why I had these links right now available is we seriously looked at doing a something quite like Kathleen Anne but with a Remi Tessier Interior... and some exterior mods... but then I thought we should do custom if we are going to spend that kind of money, and she was a little warming to it even. But then I think of the wait... Henk... the money... a sailboat... and then ultimately she wins... with the quiet, practical and firm arguments: do you really need it and will use it enough and then her peasant roots come out and how she could take that money and donate another hospital wing or two... or some other noble cause. And, I shut up! Because, the next one is why if you're going to do it... cannot it be built in France... etc and so on. And, I think on it and play over in my mind all the experiences over the years and get satisfied... and go out for a walk and live in memory of times gone by... and see her point!

Anyway, I do think if they just kept it to the machinery layout and general configuration with pre-made hulls and mechanical plants and left it so a some configuration changes could happen... that were totally custom. The interior and visible style aspects need to be totally personalized.

It arrived from a yard around 100meters from De Vries.
It took approximately 5minuts to get the yacht at ir's new destination.

    Hi,

I wouldn't be surprised if this were that yard.
