    Hi,

The fire was when she was known as AVIVA, this was in May 2000 while she was on the way north through the Red Sea.

DW the current Owner bought it in 2003 and refitted it into what it is now.

    Attessa IV

Anybody in the Vancouver area spotted the new Attessa or heard any new news? It was supposed to launch in early October.

I was in North Vancouver last week and looking straight down Lonsdale Ave., I could see a big yacht that had similar lines to Attessa III.
Not sure if it was Attessa III or the newly refitted Attessa IV.
Maybe outmywindow can zoom in with his big lens and get a photo???

What's the latest with the "Attessa IV"? She should have been completed by now right? October 1 was the relaunch date if I remember correctly.

Last month the launch was pushed back to Nov. or Dec. with no rush to meet those dates so it could even be longer till it is uncovered. I've been told there have been a lot of change orders causing the delay.

There are some new photos of the Atessa IV on another "Superyacht " website.
Unfortunately, we only get to see her nose.:(

    Hi,

Hard to see how the guy who owns it and runs the yard where it is refitted would actually call the changes he wants change orders.

I had the pleasure to meet DW in 2007 when the boat first turned up, a heck of a character and a humongous project.

I was in North Van last week & took these grey shots of Atessa III...
In the background of the photo of the Gordon Reid is the big shed where I think the Atessa IV is still in.

There are two interior photos of Attessa IV. Maybe she should have her own thread in another forum?

Any photos of Attessa IV during her trials?
I saw it off in the distance when in Vancouver recently.

We cruised the Panama Canal in 12 May 2011, and I saw the Attessa in Cabo San Lucas.
