Expired Fire Exts OK to Have on Board?

I had to look it up.
To many mambo-jumbo government sites quoting FDRs but I found one site that explains it easy;

Seems 12 years now.
I don't think I'm going to trust a hand held to 12 years but it a newer reg from 2022.
