Sad news for Dubois Naval Architects. Not sure how many people have been following but this design firm has been hit hard by a number of factors. Declining large sailboat contracts, closure of some of its main clients like Alloy and Fitzroy, the declining health and eventual death of founder Ed Dubois seem to really hit the firm hard and as a result the company is going under auction in a few days apparently.
Sad times by the sound of things, maybe they should kept the small boats going (not just Oyster Yachts). Good Luck
