Moonen delivers 42-meter megayacht "Sofia"​

Dutch yacht builder Moonen has successfully delivered their top-of-the-line 42-meter megayacht christened as "Sofia". She has been delivered to a repeat client of the yard and they are now enjoying use with their new yacht. Since delivery Sofia has been seen cruising the Mediterranean. After the Summer period she will then move over the the Caribbean Winter grounds.

One of the stand-out features onboard Sofia is the fact that she was custom-built to carry a three-person submarine. This craft is stowed on the aft swim-platform where it is handled by a custom integrated crane on the edge of the platform. She is built to Lloyds Class and is also MCA compliant across the board.

Built under hull number 194, megayacht Sofia has a design by René van der Velden and has Naval Architecture by Stolk Marimecs Bv. She sleeps as many as twelve guests in a Master Stateroom and four doubles and a convertible cabin. Interior design was done by Art-Line Interiors, no stranger to interiors on Moonen builds.
